If you’re a doctor, dentist, lawyer or other professional and you’ve found your name on ProVerdicts, this page explains why you’re listed and what you can do.

Why am I listed?

ProVerdicts lists licensed professionals using official public records — the national provider registry and Medicare’s clinician data for health professionals, and New York State’s attorney registration records for lawyers. You were not charged anything and you don’t need to do anything for your profile to exist. Listing is free and always will be.

Claim your profile

Use the Claim it link on your profile. Once we’ve verified that you are the professional named on the page, you can:

  • add a professional photo and a short description in your own words;
  • correct your practice address, phone number or website;
  • reply publicly to reviews.

Fix something that’s wrong

If a detail is out of date — you’ve changed practices, retired, or the record has an error — contact us with the correct information. We verify changes against the official record or with you directly before updating the page.

About reviews

Reviews come from patients and clients. We moderate them against our review guidelines and remove reviews that are fake, abusive, about the wrong person or written by someone with a conflict of interest. We don’t remove reviews simply because they are critical, and we don’t sell review removal. Replying calmly and specifically is almost always the best response to a negative review — and prospective patients and clients read those replies.

Ask your patients and clients for reviews

You’re welcome to share your profile link with people you’ve served. Please don’t offer incentives for reviews or ask only satisfied clients — reviews are most useful when they’re honest.
