This policy explains what information ProVerdicts (“we”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. ProVerdicts is operated by Beyond Tech Media.

Information about professionals

Profiles on ProVerdicts are built from official public records: the national provider registry (NPI) and Medicare clinician data published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and New York State attorney registration records published by the state court system. We publish professional information only — name, credentials, practice or firm, business address and phone, training and license or registration numbers. We do not publish home addresses or personal contact details. Professionals can ask us to correct their information at any time.

Information you give us

  • Reviews. When you write a review, we collect your name or display name, your email address, your rating and your review text. Your display name, rating and review are public; your email address is not.
  • Accounts. Writing a review creates a simple account so you can edit or delete your review later.
  • Messages. If you contact us or submit a claim or correction, we keep the information you send so we can respond.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we receive standard technical information when you visit — IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring pages — through server logs and cookies. We use it to run and secure the site, prevent spam and fake reviews, and understand which pages are useful.

Advertising and analytics

We may show advertising provided by Google and use analytics services. These third parties may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites and to measure performance. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com, and learn about other choices at aboutads.info.

How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site (hosting, email, spam protection), when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete your reviews from your account, or ask us to delete your account and the personal information associated with it. Depending on where you live — including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws — you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, use our contact page.

Children

ProVerdicts is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
